Chloé Le Drezen’s approach to photography allows the viewer into her personal world. Shooting predominantly on medium format film, Le Drezen’s work is characterised by a soft, underlying romanticism, creating intimate images that manage to capture those instant, fleeting moments in time.
With a background in Art History, Le Drezen incorporates her knowledge of light and composition into her work. Adept in the darkroom from an early age, she prints all of her images by hand in her East London darkroom.
She has recently shot images for Alexander McQueen, RedValentino, Barneys, and Taiga Takahashi.
Documenting various subcultures within her personal artistic practice, she has recently been working on a couple of projects, notably in Turkey. In 2019, she will be presenting these photographs with the release of her first book and related exhibition..
