@_hugomapelli develops a visual language at the crossroads of tradition and experimentation. Working in his Paris darkroom, he merges historical photographic processes with contemporary tools to produce singular images. Moving between film and digital photography, photograms and videograms, he captures shadows, distorts techniques, and creates a body of work that is graphic, vibrant, and rich in materiality - where abstraction and fashion photography converge within a distinctive artistic vision.
