Born in Mozambique in 1971, Henrique Gendre moved to cultural and spiritual Brazil when he was just four years old. Influenced by his surroundings, he got a freelancer job as an illustrator for a teenager fashion magazine at 16. Henrique later graduated from the Fine Arts College in São Paulo and this is where he was first introduced to the world of photography.
