THE FUTURE JUST TOOK FLIGHT.

Yesterday, October 15, Elon Musk unveiled Tesla’s next-generation Roadster, and it does something we once thought belonged exclusively in science fiction.

It flies. Sort of.

Developed with technology from SpaceX, the new Roadster uses high-pressure thrusters to launch into the air, perform midair maneuvers, and land back on its wheels.

Tesla also claims the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than one second.

Nearly a decade after its original announcement, the Roadster is finally making headlines again, with production targeted for 2028.

Whether this becomes the future of transportation or remains an extraordinary engineering experiment, one thing is certain: the boundaries between science fiction and reality are getting smaller.

Would you actually drive a flying Tesla?
