Renowned photographer Fabrizio Ferri presents BREATHTAKING, a powerful and immersive installation that exposes the devastating impact of plastic pollution on our oceans, and ultimately, on ourselves.

Set to debut at the Museo di Storia Naturale di Milano, BREATHTAKING brings together a striking series of portraits featuring international icons such as Helena Christensen, Misty Copeland, Willem Dafoe, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Gala Gonzalez, Julianne Moore, Bridget Moynahan, Carolyn Murphy, Isabella Rossellini, Susan Sarandon, and Naomi Watts, each captured as if suffocating in plastic.

At the heart of the installation, a glass coffin filled with seawater serves as a haunting reminder of the fragility of life and our ecosystems. Visitors will step into an environment where silence speaks louder than words, intensified by soundproof headphones inspired by Marina Abramović, evoking the eerie stillness of the ocean’s depths.

Promoted by Comune di Milano – Cultura and produced by Geraldina Polverelli Ferri (New York), Nobile Agency, and Museo di Storia Naturale (Milan), BREATHTAKING is a call to action, an artistic statement merging photography, science, and consciousness.
