In this case study, we explore Jameela Elfaki’s (@jameelaelfaki) direction of the short film SERA: More Than Water, created in collaboration with Well Aware and produced by Laird and Good Company as part of our Good Works initiative. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The film follows Sera, a 12-year-old girl in Kenya whose daily life is transformed by access to reliable, clean water. Created in support of Well Aware’s H2gO Challenge, a two-week, peer-to-peer fundraising initiative, the project invites participants to experience the daily reality faced by many women and girls in rural Kenya, who travel long distances to collect water.
