Chris Brooks started photography at the age of 14, taking photographs on the family compact camera. He studied photography for 7 years between the Midlands and the north of England specialising in the photograph as art.

Editorially, Chris's work is featured in publications including British Vogue, HTSI, PoP, T Magazine, V Magazine, and Wallpaper. He also publishes high quality Art editions from a small press entitled ‘The Brooks Press”, a family business of his since the late 1800’s.

In 2019, he launched his first book “The Brooks Press of Wirskworth” at The Photographers Gallery in London. Some forty years after its closure, Chris Brooks s revives and re-imagines his own family’s publishing house.
