Kennedi Carter is just 21-years-old. Alongside working on personal projects and assignments, she is studying for a degree in African American studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

This year, Kennedi Carter became the youngest cover photographer in British Vogue’s history, capturing Beyonce for the December issue of the magazine.

She was profiled in the British Journal of Photography’s Ones to Watch 2020. She won First Prize Pride Photo Award - Single Images 2020. Last week, her cover for British Vogue featuring Beyonce. was awarded The Jury Award "Celebrity Magazine Cover Women" at The Agents Club Photography Awards '21.
