Born and raised in the serene city of Chengdu, China and now based in Paris, Kiki Xue is a photographer who aims to express a wide range of emotions through a thorough investigation of details.

Much of Kiki’s inspiration comes from painting. He illuminates his works with natural light and explores portraiture and fashion as well as the human body and still life, creating profound detailed images, full of textures, emotion and vibrant colors.

His eye is seasoned by his appreciation of art history representing Eastern and Western Cultures both traditional and modern. He embraces the cosmopolitan culture of fashion in Paris, while remaining grounded in nature, the elements, the trees, flowers, sunshine, birds.

Kiki collaborates with magazines including Vogue Italia, Vogue China, Vogue Greece, CR Mag, Harper's Bazaar China and Boycott. He got nominated twice at The Agents Club Awards '22: in the 'Fine Art - Portrait' category and the 'Fresh Beauty' category. He won the Photo Vogue Festival prize in Milan.
