Sebastian Sabal-Bruce was born and raised in Santiago Chile and is currently based in New York.
He started his career in fashion photography in 2010 after graduating in Fine Arts and Theater.

Sebastian learned his developing and printing techniques from his father who was a fine art and portrait photographer. He honed in on his own sensibility from his mother who was a painter.
Lighting inspiration came later while directing plays at Drama School.

In 2006 he moved to Spain to complete his studies at the University of Barcelona. This is where he formally started his career as a photographer.
He exhibited his work as a Fine Art Photographer at galleries such as H2O.

Always attracted by including subjects in his work, Sebastian started to flirt with Fashion Photography, a cross-over that would give him a whole new world of possibilities and freedom to express his creativity.

In 2019 his short film SPIRAL WALK won Best Experimental Short at the Independent Short Awards in Los Angeles. An achievement that closes the circle from his early days at drama school to photography.
