“If They Asked for Nudes” by @sofiperazzo “If They Asked for Nudes” was born in Miami, across from the nude beach where Sofi grew up watching from afar but never dared to enter. “What began in 2019 as a quiet, instinctive return to documentary photography—driven by curiosity and a meditative state of simply absorbing—turned into an exploration of self-acceptance, liberation, and how we perceive the human body. Every frame was about composition, color, humor, and the quiet irony of freedom, while also honoring the vulnerability I felt as a fly on the wall. It questions beauty norms, embraces aging, and challenges what we turn away from, while at the same time grounding me in my own authenticity—marking the beginning of my style, my palette, and the way I still see today.”
