His work has bled influence on how we consume fashion, music, and pop culture, constructing worlds where high and low culture sit effortlessly side by side. Guided by intuition over trend, Maitland’s making process allow images to unfold slowly, giving room for accidents with measured restraint. Some of these works came together for his recent debut solo book, Collages for Magazines, a collection of his most striking collages from the past 15 years.
