‘A touch of yellow.’ Selects from Helsinki-based photographer @laserkola who has frequented Japan numerously for the past two decades. The countries unique mood and densely layered alleyways serve as recurring points of inspiration for Lasse. With a candid yet cinematic eye, Lasse usually prefers capturing nights over day.

”I have always thought that if visual art needs too much explaining, it hasn’t done its job very well. The observer should always have the final word on what they see in my work and what it means to them. I just like to give them a little nudge, a starting point, so that they can create their own stories. These pictures are part of a small series called ’A touch of yellow’.”
