In The Studio: Aerial photographer @bradscanvas returns to us with ‘Gyeol’, a new series created in Seoul, Korea with choreographer @liakimhappy and dancers from @1milliondance Meaning “grain” in Korean, gyeol describes the direction a material naturally wants to move: the line in timber, the pull of water, the way fabric falls. Shot from directly overhead, the series brings the lines of the hanbok and the dancers’ individual movements together into one larger visual rhythm.
