Mous Lamrabat is a self-taught photographer born in Morocco. Due to his move to Belgium as a child, he struggled with his identity growing up.

The pictures are often staged because in that way they show his universe. Occidental luxury & fashion take a very special dimension once deposited on the traditional oriental design. That world is slightly absurd, surreal, and even has hints towards 19th century symbolism.
