We are excited to invite you to Dysnomia Live: Silent Green, an intimate acoustic performance by photographer Alexandre Dupeyron and composer/bassist Thomas Julienne, following its world premiere at Pioneer Works. Date and Time: September 14th, 7pm Location: 77 Washington Avenue, 3rd floor, Brooklyn, NY 11205 Duration: 70 minutes On stage, Dupeyron works through fifteen years of photographic archives like a musician improvising; selecting, layering, and dissolving black-and-white images in direct response to the music. Thomas Julienne reimagines the double bass through preparation, friction, and raw texture, joined by vocalist Ellinoa and bass trombonist Alix Tucou, Julie Kim on the Cello and Indofunk Satish on trumpet. Tasha Gilberti will join them for dancing. All these performers will moves between tight composition and open improvisation, creating a live dialogue between archive and present moment. Structured around three questions (where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going?) Silent Green is the newest chapter of Dysnomia Live, exploring fire, vegetation, and regeneration across Australian, French and American landscapes. | Picto New York
