Théo de Gueltzl for Vogue Italia
For its June issue, the iconic Vogue Italia enlisted French photographer Théo de Gueltzl to shoot a story entirely dedicated to Fendi. And with good reason as the Roman fashion house is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, Fendi opened the doors of its stunning headquarters to the magazine, where the pristine travertine stone stands out against the clear blue sky of a crisp Roman morning, reflecting a dazzling light.
For this special feature, Fendi also granted exclusive access to its treasured archives, which provided not only all the looks showcased in the story but also original sketches by Karl Lagerfeld.
De Gueltzl’s photographic style explores sculptural form, the natural world, and a deeply sensitive portrayal of human stories and character. He is a regular contributor to some of the most prestigious fashion publications.
