The show opened with an Adam Curtis–directed short film projected on a pyramidal screen, tracing Dior’s creative legacy, from Christian Dior’s floral silhouettes to Galliano’s theatrical flair, while paying homage to Maria Grazia Chiuri’s artistic influence. Models appeared from behind an open Dior archival box, wearing reimagined classics infused with Anderson’s postmodern, surreal touch. The opening look, a white dress echoing Dior’s 1952 “Cigale” design, set the tone with exaggerated bows and sculptural shapes. Throughout, Anderson intertwined his own aesthetic with the house’s heritage, blending historical drama with contemporary edge: peplum blazers paired with frayed denim, transparent gowns over nude bodysuits, and voluminous caban coats.
