The Durimel for Document Journal For its latest issue, Document Journal collaborates with the Durimel brothers, who photograph dancer Alicia Graf Mack as the cover star. Now Artistic Director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Alicia Graf Mack is a former principal dancer with the legendary company. She returned to Ailey after a successful period at The Juilliard School, where she served as Dean and Director of the Dance Division from 2018 to 2025. A celebrated and versatile artist, she has worked alongside major figures across music and culture, including Beyoncé, John Legend, André 3000, Alicia Keys, and Jon Batiste. In this editorial, she is joined by fellow dancers from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, highlighting the movement, grace, and fluidity at the heart of the discipline.
