We're proud to announce a new Makers Camp partnership with @mafcsm designed to interrogate the future of commercial fashion. Called The Ghana Project, we hosted Ma Fashion and BA Textile Weave students together with makers from London and Ghana. We challenged them to explore issues of fashion waste and the revival of heritage textile practices, both globally and locally. The three week project saw makers @ruthkentt @jaccobmonk @rosiemerrimanstudio set up in our studio alongside @studiokojokusi from Ghana, and masterclasses from creatives including @julieverhoeven Yayra Agbofah @therevival.earth, the archive team at @kewgardens @paolocarzana @nanbrenu @ekowbarnes_ @reskinned.clothing and @juliadiasstudio who curated the final showcase.
