The Agents Club

Artist Spotlight: Photographer Bryce Glenn, the eye behind many of @sombr ‘s most striking moments: from album covers to late night shows across the country, capturing life on and off the road.

Post-show last weekend at @rooftopatpier17 , Bryce shared how he was once the kid taking photos on an iPod at rock shows, inspired by the individuality of the artist on stage. Years later, a camera handed to him in church became his way of seeing the world, a practice in slowing down, noticing, and staying open.

With Shane (Sombr), that sense of openness turned into collaboration. Nothing forced, no rules. Just two friends turning backstage chaos into something real.

“Over the past few years, I realized I loved everything about photography; being able to somewhat freeze a moment in time – the people it introduces me to, the attention it demands from you, the lack of control it teaches you, the decisions of what is worthy to capture, the moments that you miss in camera but get to witness with your own eyes; everything. It’s beautiful, it keeps me open. It slows me down. It feels like praying, I thank God for it.”
