‘Cotton Candy Cowboy,’ an ongoing project by American documentary and street photographer @perryhallphoto

“For the past two years, I have been working on this photo project at the State Fair of Texas. Each October, I walk into this beautiful chaos of light, color, and people living out the American dream for 24 days straight. I call this project ‘Cotton Candy Cowboy’ because that’s what it is: this collision of Western mythology and State Fair sweetness, all built on the actual work holding it together.”
