His method is highly filmic, designing and building elaborate sets to create pictures of extraordinary detail and narrative. "I’ve always been a very visual person. I’ll watch a film, pausing ever so often to take in a moment, staring wondrously at what’s stirred the emotions."

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

'The Lonely Man' is a deeply personal project. Exploring his childhood relationship with his father, a relationship conducted through “a maze of police raids, guns, drugs, violence and, ultimately, redemption” after he was declared bankrupt in the 1980s.

'THE LONELY MAN'

'Take Me Away' depicts the life and times of Canton House a Chinese take away which opened in the UK in the early 60’s by the Yau family after emigrating from Hong Kong in search of a better life.

'TAKE ME AWAY'

'The Upside Down' is a surreal look at the mental state of my family in lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s an honest reflection of a surreal experience we were all going through as a family.

'THE UPSIDE DOWN'

'FOURTEEN'

'Sign of The Times' shows us the results of climate change, polarised against the most iconic sign in the world with its ‘still turning on’ status symbolizing the political and economical stance to the near irreversible future that we’re headed for.
