The Durimel for T Magazine T: The New York Times Style Magazine, commonly known as T, is a standalone, perfect-bound publication by The New York Times, focused on fashion, lifestyle, beauty, travel, design, and seasonal themes. T operates as an independent entity and has been in circulation since August 2004. It is distributed with the Sunday edition of the newspaper 11 times a year. For its latest Travel issue, the magazine commissioned the photographer duo Durimel, brothers who spent their formative years on the island of Guadeloupe, to produce a visually striking photo series set in that very location. Travel holds deep significance for the pair, whose upbringing was marked by a nearly nomadic lifestyle. Born in Paris to French-Caribbean parents, they lived in Guadeloupe, Miami, St. Maarten, Los Angeles, and eventually returned to Paris. Their photography explores themes of cultural fusion and celebrates the elegance found in simplicity.
