Bottega Veneta Summer 2026, Milan Fashion Week For her debut collection at Bottega Veneta, British designer Louise Trotter truly brought the spirit of the bottega (the artisan’s workshop) back to the heart of the house, presenting a collection with near-couture sensibilities. The show proved powerful, driven by the strong identity Trotter has established for the brand. She seamlessly wove the house’s signature material, the intreccio, its iconic woven leather, into nearly every silhouette. Precise, sculptural silhouettes are paired with rich, tactile textures, tasseled, flounced, and feather-light. Summer-weight fabrics are anchored by meticulously constructed interiors, shaped with the discipline and precision of traditional menswear tailoring. Iconic bags are reimagined in new proportions and expressions, while fresh arrivals include the soft, embrace-like Squash bag, a tasselled evening clutch, and a structured framed tote.
