Chanel Spring Summer 2026, Paris Fashion Week

On October 6, Matthieu Blazy made a striking debut as Chanel’s new artistic director, presenting a collection that merged bold creativity with reverence for the house’s legacy. Set against a spectacular cosmic backdrop at the Grand Palais, with glowing planets and a lava-like runway, the show immediately signaled a new, visionary chapter for Chanel.
Grey flannel suits with masculine cuts paid homage to Coco Chanel’s pioneering spirit, while oversized camellias, dense pearl necklaces, and golden wheat embroidery reinterpreted the brand’s iconic symbols with modern finesse. Even the little black dress was reinvented through daring shapes and unexpected details.
Blazy closed with dramatic evening looks of sculpted petals and flowing textures, blending poetry, innovation, and emotion, a confident new beginning for the storied maison.
