Miami born, LA-based Carlos Serrao found his love for photography by documenting the local skateboard scene in his home state of Florida. From this beginning he garnered local hero status for his image making, pushing him to make the move to LA to pursue photography as his main profession.

His first major advertising campaign came in 2004 shooting the Nike Speed Campaign for the Athens Olympics. For this epic project he shot 37 elite athletes from around the world culminating in the book THE BEAUTY OF SPEED.
