At 22 I moved back to NYC after graduating from college to work for Bruce Weber and it was there that I met my two best lifelong friends. For this I will always be thankful to @bruce_weber and @nan_bush I needed a place to live and on my very first shoot on a very stormy day on the Staten Island Ferry, making pictures of Mark Vanderloo and Kate Moss, I bonded with this badass sexy photo assistant who was large and in charge and she told me her sister was moving out and I could be her roommate. We never fought about anything other than dishes in the sink and the occasional BF she would leave behind living with me when she was traveling the world working before I started traveling too. A year later in Greece we met Maia. Bruce had told us all about her. He said she was this amazing spirit and thought that we would be the best of friends.
