His first film was directing David Lynch in a dreamlike short for Dom Perignon.

Soon after, Luke wrote and directed The Future of Flesh, a short film featuring Prada's Fall/Winter collection, narrated by Jane Fonda.

The project received critical acclaim and led Luke to develop his work further; writing and directing his first narrative film, CONNECTED, starring Pamela Anderson, Dree Hemingway, and Jane Fonda.

His work explore society’s fixations with youth and our “existential obsession with rehabilitation, wellness and health,” he said.
His fascination with what he calls the “the polarities of California culture” is also evident in imagery.
