Micaela’s colorful work, a juxtaposition of truth and altered states, straddles the fine art and commercial worlds. Her experimental techniques challenge the notion of what an image is and further challenges the audience to explore their place in the world.
She is passionate about obstructing traditional ways of viewing, engaging with landscapes, portraiture and abstraction - all through a highly subversive lens.
