Le 19M, « Trouver son monde », The Transmission of Gestures From September 17 to December 14, Galerie du 19M is hosting « Trouver son monde », an exhibition that delves into the personal and collective journey of creation. Seventeen emerging artists present works that explore the many forms of transmission, through gestures, spaces, and cultures, including new collaborations with the gallery’s resident art Houses. Accompanying the exhibition, the second chapter of a video series highlights family stories, lived experiences, and legends passed down to the artists, which they reinterpret and share through their creations. Emeline Amétis, Solène Gün, Sarah Makharine, and Thomias Radin each explore heritage and memory through textile art, photography, film, and sound. Their works reinterpret myths, cultural roots, and intergenerational connections, blending personal identity with collective transmission.
