Air Afrique Magazine #2, launching Friday, 25th April
Air Afrique, a collective and platform for Afro-diasporic arts, knowledge, and dialogue, is gearing up to release the second issue of its magazine.
Inspired by the myth of flight and its rich social, cultural, artistic, scientific, historical, and symbolic meaning across the Afro-diasporic world, this new edition explores the theme of travel. It brings together stories of movement, human connection, and cultural blending, all with the stars as a guiding light. Featured on the cover is passionate astronomer and activist Fatoumata Kébé, photographed by Jeremy Konko.
The launch event will take place on Friday, April 25 at UNESCO, and will feature talks, screenings, and readings to celebrate this second issue.
To mark the occasion, Air Afrique has also dropped a cinematic teaser starring none other than the iconic Boss Lady Theodora.
